Billionaire Lover Page 8

  “Good luck with your homework.”

I let the door fall closed behind her and wait a moment before locking it. Panic sets in. She’s a horrible enemy to have. You never leave a secret on the lips of Becky Belmont.

My eyes glance at the clock. I have less than an hour to complete my paper.

I don’t have time to worry about what she said.

I don’t have the stomach to think about the possibility of losing everything I have.

  Seventeen

  Rocky

  “Wakey, wakey, Rocky!”

The sudden sound of Zeke’s voice pulls me from a deep slumber. He throws the window blinds open, letting in the powerful early summer sunshine. My eyes burn from the brightness.

I moan and reach for my blanket, desperate to find darkness again. The encounter with Becky is still fresh in my mind. Last night, I finished my paper quickly, filling the blanks of my conclusion full of bullshit, and immediately fell into bed. But I couldn’t sleep.

Zeke grabs the other end of the blanket and holds it tight. “Now, now, come on,” he laughs. He pulls it from my grasp and tosses it to the floor. “It’s time to get up. We have a flight to catch.”

I blink my eyes as they absorb the morning light. I reach for my phone to check the time. “Zeke, it’s six in the morning. I’ve been asleep for three hours.”

“Tisk. Tisk,” he scolds me. He kneels down next to the bed, seemingly not caring for a second that his perfectly pressed pants might get wrinkled in the process. “You were supposed to come upstairs last night. What happened?”

I open my mouth to speak. I came to the conclusion last night that I wasn’t going to tell him about Becky’s threat. Not right away anyway. “I was just really tired. Sorry.”

“No worries. Did you finish all your homework on time?”

I nod while a yawn expels from my body.

“Good,” he says. “Summer vacation is officially here!”

“But Zeke…” I begin. “That means that I get to sleep in as late as I want to…”

I reach for my pillow but Zeke is too fast. He yanks it out from beneath my head.

“Not today,” he says. A big grin dances across his face.

I force my eyes open and focus my gaze on him. “What the hell is wrong with you?” I laugh. “Wait… what flight?”

Zeke reaches into his pocket and withdraws a piece of paper. He lays it on the bed next to my head, stands up, and walks out of the room into the hallway.

I look at it. A hotel reservation for two at the Hawaiian Belmont Resort.

  “Hawaii?!”

I shoot up in bed, finally wide awake. Zeke returns to the room with a suitcase in each hand.

  “I can’t go to Hawaii!”

He sets the suitcases on the bed next to my feet. “Why not?” he asks.

“I…” I pause. “I… don’t actually have an answer for that.”

“Good, then it’s settled.” He zips open the suitcases and lays them both open. “Pack quickly.”

  “But… what?” I mumble.

Zeke sighs and kneels down to the bed again. He takes my hands in his and places them against his lips. “I have a business meeting to attend in Honolulu. I want you to keep me company.” He kisses my fingers. “Since school is officially over as of six hours ago, you are officially on vacation. I go to my meeting. You have a little fun in the sun. We have a little fun in the hotel room afterward. Come on, it’ll be awesome.”

“Will anyone else in the company be there?” I worry about getting caught together. He knows it.

“Yes,” he answers. “Most of the shareholders will be there. And Dad. But no one will find it suspicious that you tagged along because you’re my assistant. You’re just doing your job.”

  I nod in agreement. “Okay…”

“Come on! Move it! Quickly! Flight is at eight! Be downstairs in the limo at six-forty-five!” He stands up and rushes out of the room.

“I have to shower!” I laugh.

  “Shower quickly!”

I hear the front door close behind him. A laugh rattles me from the depths of my core as I lay down again and stare at the ceiling.

I pick up the hotel reservation again. A room for two. Zeke looked so happy, so content. I try to match his enthusiasm, but the emotion won’t strike me.

  ‘Zeke will lose everything.’

Becky’s voice fills my head once more. My thoughts pick up right where I left them last night. Can Zeke and I actually be together? Or will I be his little secret forever?

There won’t be a happily ever after here.

“Zeke,” I say from the limo. “When you said the flight was at eight, you didn’t mention it was in the private jet!”

“What did you expect?” he asks. He puffs up his shoulders and deepens his voice, “We’re the Belmonts… you expect us to fly with other people?”

I laugh. “Your Mason has definitely improved.”

“Thank you, I have no one else to practice it for.” He reacts to my wide eyes. “You okay?”

  “Yeah… I’m good…”

I look out the window at the private jet. I have it in my sights. Sleek and gold — always gold. The Belmont jet has held the reputation as being the envy of the skies for nearly two decades. I never had a chance to board her before I split years ago.

“I expected first class or something,” I say. “Not the only class.”

Zeke laughs at me and lays a hand on my knee. “You’ve never been on the jet before, have you?”

“Of course not,” I say. “I’m pretty sure Mason would never have allowed it anyway.”

“Well, then, let’s get going.” He pops the door open and entwines his fingers with mine.

He pulls me out of the limo and my eyes react to the sudden change of lighting. But I don’t want to blink. I don’t want to suddenly find myself in my old apartment, in my old bed, staring at my old ceiling. If this is a dream, then I never want to give myself the opportunity to wake up.

  “You all right?” he asks.

  “Yes…”

“Come on, it’s almost time to take-off.”

“Have I…” I mutter as fear creeps inside. “Have I mentioned that I’ve never flown before?”

“Ever?” Zeke asks, pausing for a moment.

  “Ever,” I confirm.

He looks back at me with amused bewilderment. It quickly disappears and a look of genuine compassion fills his eyes. “There’s nothing to it. Completely safe. The pilot, Bernie, is amazing.” He gives my hand a little squeeze.

I nod and try to appear much stronger than I feel. “Okay.”

“Here…” Zeke positions himself next to me. “Take a deep breath with me. Close your eyes.”

I do as I’m told and my eyes flutter closed. I can hear him inhaling deeply and I follow his lead, filling my lungs with fresh air. He exhales and I push the air out along with him. I feel him step behind me and drop my hand to take hold of my shoulders.

“Breathe in,” he whispers in my ear.

I inhale deep, my heart pounding in my chest. Zeke’s lips graze the skin of my neck, sending shivers through my limbs.

“Breathe out,” he says between kisses.

My sex fills with warm life as I lean back into his arms. I keep breathing, the new life swimming through my veins. Zeke’s hands are on the move. They run down my back and slip under my arms, inching toward my breasts. My nipples stand to attention beneath his touch, eager for his comforting embrace. His lips graze my neck as his fingers tweeze me. My skin tingles against his warm breath.

“Is this supposed to relax me?” I ask.

“It’s supposed to distract you,” he answers.

“Well, it’s working,” I say. My body screams for him with passionate desire.

“Good,” he says. He steps to the side and retakes my hand. “Shall we?”

Zeke pulls me toward the jet and I follow him with shaking knees.

  “How long until we land?”

I glance up from my tablet, reacting to the subtle shake in Rocky’s tone across the aisle. She doesn’t look out the window for longer than a second, each time jolting back and taking a deep breath as if it’s the worst thing she’s ever done.

  I smile. “A few hours.”

She digs her nails into the armrest of her giant leather chair and looks down, focusing on anything but the wide, blue ocean thirty thousand feet below us.

I gesture to the Long Island iced tea in front of her. “You should drink that,” I say.

  Her little eyes rise. “What?”

“Your drink.” I hold up my whiskey. “It’ll take the edge off.”

“I have,” she says. “Edge still very much on.”

I twist my chair toward her. “Rocky, it’s safe,” I comfort.

“I know.” She clears her throat and looks at my tablet. “What are you reading?”

“Just business documents,” I say, embracing her distraction. “Prep for the meeting.”

  “When is it again?”

“This afternoon. Once we land, I’ll have to go straight there.”

She stretches out, turning away from the deadly windows. “What will I be doing?”

“Anything you want,” I answer, looking back at my tablet. “You’ve got room service, free cable, a state-of-the-art gym. Me, personally, I’d march right on down to the beach, but it’s up to you.”

Rocky raises her foot and grazes my knee with her toes. “Anything?”

She slips farther up my leg.

  “Anything,” I say.

“What about right now?” she asks. “Can I do anything I want... right... now?”

I recognize the sultry tone. Gone is the quivering fear of flying. She’s set her adorable eyes on me, but...

“As long as I can still read, yes...” I smirk. “You can do whatever you want.”

Rocky slides down to the floor and crawls over to kneel in front of me.

I shift my legs apart to give her room as her tickling fingers climb my calves and thighs to tug at my belt. My briefs tighten as blood rushes south but I try to keep my eyes on my work. She can have her fun. Now, what was that about budget reports?

She leans in closer and closer until her face is buried in my lap.

My eyes stray from the tablet. I chuckle as she pulls my zipper down using only her teeth. “You’re not making this easy for me, are you?” I ask, biting my lip.

  “No.”

She slides my pants down to my ankles, freeing my now-throbbing erection. She takes hold of it, wrapping her fingers around me and guiding the tip closer to her mouth. My groin twitches involuntarily and I tremble with anticipation of her warm tongue but... Christ, budget what?

Her tongue glides from base to tip, yanking me out of any delusion of getting this report read anytime soon. I drop the tablet on the small fold-out table beside me and reach out to fist a bit of Rocky’s hair.

“Fuck,” I sigh as she leaves no inch of me un-licked.

Rocky moans, her hands roaming from my legs to my chest. I melt beneath her touch as her mouth works me. I keep my eyes glued on her, watching every move of her adorable, pink lips and that masterful tongue.

“Rocky,” I groan, breathing hard. “Fuck...”

She chuckles and goes right back to sucking me off. At least she’s smiling and grinning now. I’d rather her feel safe and sexy than freaking out by the window while I read about... shit, what was it again?

My balls clench as she sucks me harder, coaxing a few drops of me to come out but I don’t want to come in her sweet mouth. Not that that isn’t fun but if we’re a mile high in the sky, I’m going to take advantage of it.

I ease her back, sliding my cock out of her mouth. “Stand up,” I tell her.

She licks her lips and does as she’s told. We both rise to our feet and I pick her up in my arms the first chance I get. She yelps with a dizzy rush as I walk us to the wall.

  “Turn around,” I say.

Rocky hesitates, moving slowly to face the windows.

“You’re safe here,” I whisper. “With me. Say it.”

She swallows hard as I lean down and roll up her skirt. “I’m safe with you,” she says.

I draw her hair to the side to kiss her neck. “I won’t let anything ever happen to you.” She turns her head and kisses me back. “Close your eyes. Trust me…”

Her eyes flutter closed. I push a hand into her panties, taking a few moments to rub her clit. Her wetness already drips onto my fingers and she gasps with pleasure, fully ignoring the thin layer of glass standing between her and nothing but air.

I bend her forward, placing her hands against the wall. Her hips buck against my hand, taking as much pleasure as I allow her to have.

“Don’t be too loud,” I warn her. “We’re not alone here...”

She stiffens and bites her lip. The idea of getting caught has always laid in the back of my mind but we’ve been careful so far. Up here, a flight attendant could easily pop in to check on us at any moment or come to inspect a strange noise. To be honest, I secretly instructed them to give us full privacy until we land. But Rocky doesn’t know that.

Her whole body shudders. That’s why I didn’t tell her. Her senses are heightened. Every touch or caress feels twice as good. Twice as dirty.

I drop to my knees, sliding her panties to the floor as I go. I admire her heart-shaped ass and trembling thighs before thrusting my tongue into her dripping crevice.

She moans into her hand, muffling the sound. Her legs spread an inch wider and I plunge in as far as I can, giving her what her body is begging for. “Zeke,” she says from the depths of her body. “Oh, god...”

I lick upward to her ass and she responds with a full-body spasm that curls even my toes. She jolts against the window, her eyes wide open. The abyss of blue and clouds doesn’t seem to bother her anymore. Just as I intended.

I stand up and turn her around to face me again. She wobbles on her shaking knees as tiny moans still fall from her lips. I press her hard against the wall, scooping her up and she instantly wraps her legs around my waist. She clasps a hand over her mouth, biting down on her fingers to silence her shrieks of ecstasy as I enter her again.

I balance her up on my hip as I rail her hard against the wall. Our bodies bang with light thuds and I know there’s no way the flight attendants don’t know what’s going on but I don’t pay them to judge.

Rocky gives up trying to be quiet and buries her face in my shoulder to smother her screams.

“Moan for my, Rocky,” I urge, her hot breath warming my skin beneath my shirt. I grip her ass, easily holding her in place as I thrust deeper. “I’m not going to stop until I feel you come on my cock again.”

Her pussy grips me like a vise. Almost there...

“You hear me, my love?” I kiss her neck, nibbling hard. “Only you can make this end...”

She comes with a laughing groan, her entire body going tense as pleasure rides to the ends of her toes and back. I give in with her, filling her tightness to the brim and she crushes her mouth on mine.

Once it’s over, I hold her steady, cradling her limp form until I’m sure her twitching limbs can hold her up on her own. We stand together, staring into each other’s eyes, and listening to the silent void of rumbling engines.

  Nineteen

  Rocky

The afternoon Hawaiian sun blazes in the sky as I step outside the hotel. Zeke insisted that I go out and have a little fun while he went to his meeting and I wasn’t about to argue with him. I could tag along as an assistant but the last thing I want is to bump into Mason. Especially after what happened the last time we crossed paths. I’m on summer vacation, after all, and I can’t think of a better way to spend it than lounging in the sun.

I slip my flip-flops off and let my toes sink into the golden sand on the beach. The sound of crashing waves echo in my ears, mixing naturally with the screams of children
playing down the beach. A young man escorts me down the beach carrying a lounging chair with a matching umbrella, courtesy of hotel management. I tried to turn it down, but the manager insisted.

“Thank you,” I tell him as he sets up the chair.

“No problem, Ms. Ramone. Can I get you anything else? Iced tea?”

“Oh, no thank you,” I say. “I brought some water with me. Thanks again!”

I reach into my bag and withdraw a few dollars and hand them to him. He smiles wide and takes off toward the hotel, no doubt eager to get out of the blaring sunlight.

I grab my tanning lotion and secure my sunglasses to my face as I sit down. I close my eyes and listen to the people around me. The beach is crowded but not enough to put me off being here. The ocean waves breathe and crash around me.

  This is heaven.

Every inch of my body relaxes as my muscles turn to butter beneath the shining sun.

  “Well, this is a surprise!”

I feel a jolt of familiarity and open my eyes. “Logan?”

“Rocky!” Logan says, looking me up and down. “Nice bikini!”

I smile up at him, thankful for the compliment. I wasn’t sure about wearing it at first but it was a last minute gift from Zeke. “Thanks,” I say.

“May I?” he gestures to the ground next to me but before I can say anything he takes a seat in the sand next to me.

I raise the sunglasses over my eyes and rest them atop my head. Logan wears a pair of men’s swim trunks and nothing else, an outfit no doubt designed around showing off his perfect abs and bulging arms.

“What are you doing here?” he asks me bluntly but keeps his trademark smile attached to his face.

I want to be happy to see him. But I look into his eyes and all I hear is Becky’s voice.

  ‘Logan told me everything.’

  He can’t be trusted.

“I’m on summer vacation,” I say with a shrug.

“And you somehow end up at the Hawaiian Belmont Resort?”
